We are excited to announce that over 30 additional acres of Hana coastline at Maka’alae has been acquired by Ke Ao Hali’i in partnership with the State of Hawaii, County of Maui, and Hawaii Land Trust. The conservation easements over these lands prohibit subdivision and development, allowing for the continuation of cultural practice and maintaining community access in perpetuity.
