The Economic Development & Budget (EDB) Committee of the County Council will be considering the request of Ke Ao Hali’i for Open Space funds toward the purchase of Mokae parcel (2) 1-4-010:004.

Ke Ao Hali’i will be making a presentation to share our long-term management plan, which must be approved by the Council prior to the release of funds.
Public testimony may be provided in the Council chambers, or by phone from the Council Services office in Hana. Testimony may also be submitted by email to edb.committee@mauicounty.us.
This is our opportunity to protect and preserve the Hāna coast for generations to come. It is especially important for kānaka maoli and lineal descendants to be heard.
